About UsColusi County Historical Society meetings are on Saturdays and begin at noon.
- "Annual Meeting" is in February in Coulsa,
- "Spring Meeting" is in April in Glenn County, and the
- "Fall Meeting" is in October in Tehama County.
If you have roots in any three of these counties you will probably find at least one distant cousin at any one of our meetings. I may even be one you never knew existed!
We have been in existence since 1950, and we have never had a paid employee. All of it's work is done by volunteers solely to preserve and celebrate the history of Colusi Counties.
Coulsa, Glenn and Tehama counties were at one time a part of COLUSI (Ko-loose-see) COUNTY, one of the twenty seven original counties of California.
Whether you are a recent transplant to the Central or Northern Sacramento Valley, or a resident for generations, you are invited to join the Coulsi County Historical Society.
CCHS is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt entity, so all contributions left by a will or trust are completely tax deducible to the donor or donor's estate.
