About UsThe Wrangell Medical Center Foundation was established in 2006 as a non-profit entity. The Foundation currently supports three programs: Cancer Care, Health Careers Scholarships, and Wrangell Medical Center Long Term Care activities.
Please visit our Cancer Care page for more information on a program, open to residents of Southeast Alaska, which aims to help reduce the cost (and stress) related to traveling outside our communities in order to obtain treatment for cancer.
Much of the support for Cancer Care comes from the Foundation's Rally and Blue Tees for Cancer Care golf tournaments held in mid August. Please take a moment to visit these pages and find out how to become a supporter of the Wrangell Medical Center foundation.
Other Foundation activities include an annual Used Book Sale in November, the Chocolate Lovers Festival in February, a raffle in December, and the 4th of July pie sale with Beta.
