On June 20^th, individuals, families and businesses across the country will participate in the eighth annual United Way Day of Action. Here in the Yuba, Sutter and Colusa area, the Yuba-Sutter United Way is holding a Community Wide Food Drive. Our goal is 15,000 pounds of wholesome foods!

We invite you to be part of the change. During the summer months, our area food pantries are challenged to keep their shelves stocked. Please start collecting wholesome, healthy and nutritious non-perishable food items and plan to bring them to one of our five drop-off locations on June 20, 2015 from 9 am – 1 pm.

Cash donations are welcome and will be received online at www.yuba-sutterunitedway.org or at any of the drop-off locations. Cash donations will be forwarded to participating food pantries and used to purchase food items, often, at a deep discount!

Volunteers are needed from 9-1 to receive donations at our drop-off locations and from 11-3 in a warehouse in Yuba City to help sort, weigh and package the food for our local food pantries.
