| 2017 Illinois Sustainability Award APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED FOR THE 2017 ILLINOIS SUSTAINABILITY AWARD!  Gain recognition for your commitment to the environment and the sustainability achievements of your organization. The Illinois Sustainable Technology Center (ISTC), part of the Prairie Research Institute at the University of Illinois, annually presents the Illinois Sustainability Award to organizations in Illinois that have demonstrated a commitment to environmental excellence. The Illinois Sustainability Award was established in 1987 and is the longest running state environmental award in the country for sustainable businesses and organizations. The application opens today, March 1, 2017 and the deadline for submitting your application is the close of business May 4. Applications will only be accepted electronically. Application information, evaluation criteria, sample applications and more can be found on our website. This program is open to all public and private organizations with operations in Illinois.
