he 2023 Southern Illinois Legislative Summit will take place on August 24th at the Pavilion. This event is an informative discussion between Federal & Springfield leaders, local elected officials, and the Southern Illinois business community. Attendees share lunch, information, and political awareness of issues facing our area.Elected officials are encouraged to attend and present about programs and efforts that impact the Southern Illinois region. Members of the media are included in this event and attendee questions will be screened before the Q&A session.
Schedule:11:00 am: Lunch
11:30 am: Legislative Updates followed by Q&A session. After the Legislative updates, networking with community and state leaders will take place till 1:30 pm.
Housekeeping Note
If your plans change and you can't attend, please call the office by noon the day before the luncheon. We encourage you to send a co-worker to represent your organization and network, otherwise you will be billed for your lunch. (Our catering numbers are traditionally finalized the Friday before the luncheon.)
