Ever wanted to try Roller Derby? Here is your chance! The Thunder City Roller Derby Sirens are looking for skaters, referees and non-skating officials! Skaters and Refs must be 18+.Join our 12 week new skater program that teaches you everything you need to know! NO SKATING EXPERIENCE REQUIRED! We have gear & skates you can use, all you need to bring is a mouth guard!
We are currently accepting pre-registration for our next New Skater recruit class January 22nd, 2024 at 7:15pm which will be held at The Rink in DeLand!

Classes for the first 12 weeks are on Mon/Thu 7:30-9:30 and are comprised of basic skating skills, building endurance, and learning about TCDS and roller derby. Upon completion of the program you will have the opportunity to join our team as a full member and participate in full contact drills & training.
This recruitment is open to all skill levels and will provide comprehensive lessons on basic Roller Derby roller skating skills, Roller Derby rules and becoming a member of Thunder City Derby Derby Sirens.
