The Madison Chocolate Festival & the Kindness Café
Saturday, February 10, 2024, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The First Congregational Church of Madison, 26 Meetinghouse Lane, is transforming Hubley Hall into the Kindness Café for the first ever Madison Chocolate Festival. Entering the Café, everyone will receive a Kindness cookie and be surrounded by the aroma of cookies being baked. Then you can sit down and choose from a menu of delicious items, such as, delectable chocolate cookies, snickerdoodles, chocolate cake, hot chocolate, coffee or tea and other luscious treats. If sweets are not to your liking so early in the day, chili will be offered to eat in the Café or to take home. Our church Youth Group will be selling Chili to raise money for their service project to Appalachia. Since Valentine’s Day is only four days away, candies and cookies will be for sale plus there will be a Cookie Walk where you may select from a variety of cookies and pay according to their weight.
There will be gift baskets, and children’s activities, along with fellowship and fun.
Live music from local artists will be featured, with songs of peace, love and kindness, and available, as long as the supply lasts “The Little Kindness Book” that features some artwork from local children.
The Kindness Café will include a Wall of Fame of Madison’s local service organizations, school clubs, social services and youth groups that all make Madison such a great place to live. Let’s make Kindness contagious.
