Friday, May 24th the Verde Village Community Connection (VVCC) Pool opens with a Family Fun Day. Swimming admission is $1 a person. The pool is open to everyone 11 am – 7 pm Tuesday through Sunday through Labor Day as weather permits.
The volunteer-run VVCC is looking for Pool Monitors to facilitate safety, monitor admission, and sell refreshments. In exchange for one 4-hour volunteer shift a week, a monitor gets free swimming all season for their immediate household. Email info@vvcc.life.

Attention swimmers! - or anyone who wants to cool off in the summer in an uncrowded pool!
In preparation for the Community Pool opening on May 24th, the Verde Village Community Connection (VVCC) is searching for volunteer Pool Monitors. As there is no lifeguard on duty at the pool, volunteers monitor admission, facilitate safety, and sell refreshments. In exchange for one 4-hour volunteer shift a week, a monitor gets free swimming all season for their immediate household. Email info@vvcc.life to get involved as a monitor. As a volunteer-run organization, the VVCC depends on the goodwill of neighbors to provide these community services.
Then celebrate on Friday, May 24th at a Family Fun Day at the VVCC Pool. Everyone – not just Verde Village residents – is invited to swim that day for only $1 each admission. That marks the beginning of the swim season and the pool is open 11 am – 7 pm Tuesday through Sunday through Labor Day as weather permits. The Verde Village Community Pool is located at 4855 E Broken Saddle Dr in Cottonwood.
