Folklore Flower Co. is hosting their good friend and fiber artist Laura Gilbert from Tocco Studio at the shop for a Tote Bag Bundle Dyeing Workshop.
In this workshop, we’ll unveil the secrets of bundle dyeing, a technique that harnesses the power of steam to infuse plant-based color onto fibers. Not only does this method yield stunning results, but It has an added ecological benefit of using less water than a typical dyebath.
You’ll witness the magic unfold before your eyes, as your botanical design transforms plain cotton tote bags into vibrant works of art. They will stand out at farmers markets, the beach or wherever you carry them!
