Open Cab Days at the Western Pacific Railroad Museum!
Come join us on June 8-9, 2024, Saturday and Sunday, for Open Cab Days! Several of our historic locomotives plus some other special equipment will be open for viewing and have docents on hand to help you explore them and explain their histories and features.
We will also be running our caboose trains those days, so you can enjoy a train ride in the Sierras and gets hands on with our historic equipment.
The Open Cab event is included with museum admission. Train rides are extra fare.
The Western Pacific Railroad Museum is located in Portola, California, near the headwaters of the Feather River. 700 Western Pacific Way. Museum is open 10 AM to 5 PM on weekends and train rides depart from 11 AM to 2 PM.
