Details
Learn to create unique and textured artwork using Gelli plates, a practical, economic and creative alternative to traditional printing methods. ArtWorks DeLand artist Stephanie Zing will guide students as they explore various techniques for applying paint, using plant matter, and incorporating other textures to create one-of-a-kind monoprints, ready for use in art journals, scrapbooks, collages and greeting cards or as frameable art. No experience necessary. The class will be held on June 3, 2 p.m. – 4:30 p.m., at ArtWorks DeLand, 111 West Indiana Avenue, DeLand, FL 32720. The cost is $50 and includes all supplies.
