Details
In this class, students will learn about the history and purpose of artist trading cards (ATCs), a popular form of mini art created and freely exchanged among artists worldwide. Under the guidance of ArtWorks DeLand gallery artist Stephanie Zing, participants will explore various techniques and mediums for making their own unique artist trading cards, including collage, painting, and mixed media. By the end of the class, students will have a collection of original cards to trade with classmates and take home as a start to their own collection of ATCs, with opportunities for future trades. The class takes place on Monday, June 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at ArtWorks DeLand, 111 West Indiana Avenue, DeLand, FL 32720.The cost is $35 per person and includes all supplies.
