On Monday afternoon, July 15th, Gail Wilson Kenna will discuss her latest book, Tennis Talk of a Nobody. The book club event, held upstairs in the library, is free and open to the public and begins at 2 p.m.
The author of six books, Kenna has won numerous writing awards, including recent ones from the National League of American Pen Women. For seven years she served as the Creative Nonfiction judge for San Francisco’s Soul-Making Keats before the literary contest ended last year. Kenna has taught writing and literature for colleges and universities in four countries and four U.S. States. Since 2005 she has created life-long learning courses and taught them for RCC’s adult institute RILL. Through her LLC, Crosshill Creek Publications, she offers instruction and editing services for those with an interest in writing.
