Join us for “Back to School Healthy Start” event that will be held Wednesday, July 31, 2024 (10:00AM-2:00PM) Hereford Civic Centre-1001 W. 15th St., Hereford, TX This event is FREE and open to school age children and their parents. We will be offering free hygiene items,soap, educational information, and information for parents to get their children ready for school. TDT (Texas Department of Transportation) will be offering free car seats by Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians who will be available for questions. In addition, Joseph’s Project (a division of Catholic Charities of the Texas Panhandle) will be offering free diapers/wipes and more. Several agencies will be on hand to offer information on their programs and services, such as medical and dental health care, as well as some of the local community services available in Hereford. TDSHS will be taking walk-ins at their clinic for children needing their vaccines.
