Event Description
The Perseid meteor shower greets stargazers every year from mid July to late August. Join Nevada Outdoor School and the California Trail Center on one of the peak viewing nights, August 10th at 7:30pm. But wait, there's S'more! This event also takes place on National S'more day! Not only will you get to view the Perseid Meteor Shower, you can enjoy some tasty s'mores. Bring a blanket or a lawn chair to sit back and enjoy the meteor shower with a treat.

S'mores Station: Enjoy making classic s'mores by the campfire.
Meteor Shower Viewing: Lay back and marvel at the Perseid meteor shower, one of the best annual meteor showers.
Family Fun: Perfect for all ages—bring your friends and family for a night under the stars!
What to bring:
Comfortable seating (blankets, lawn chairs)
Warm clothing (it can get chilly at night)
Flashlight or headlamp for moving in the dark
