Become immersed in history and visit the National Museum of Nuclear Science & History after hours for Nuclear After Dark, an outdoor evening event on Friday, October 4. This evening, the museum will welcome visitors to enjoy an outdoor screening of Modern Marvels: The Manhattan Project, a 45-minute production from the History Channel covering the super-secret atomic bomb project during World War II. This Movie will be projected on the back of the museum to be enjoyed under the stars and among the iconic airplanes in Heritage Park. Guests are welcome to enjoy the local cuisine provided by Albuquerque's finest food trucks and Bombs Away Brewery while enjoying music from a local DJ. Guests are also invited to tour the museum at their leisure.

NEW THIS YEAR!

The Museum team has created an immersive interactive espionage-themed puzzle experience related to the Manhattan Project. Game participants will receive a Manhattan Project badge featuring key Manhattan Project staff. The Curatorial team will have unique Manhattan Project artifacts not currently on display, and guests can take photos in front of a backdrop of the Main Gate at Los Alamos. There will also be music from a DJ, local food trucks, a brewery, and access to the museum's exhibits after hours.

This special event is $20 per person. Since this event is a fundraiser, member passes can not be used.
