Event Description
Its time to pull out all your purple. The Lander County Committee Against Domestic Violence is hosting a 5K Run/Walk Fundraiser to raise awareness and funds for victims of domestic violence in our community. The event will take place on October 12th at Elquist Park, with registration beginning at 8AM. $5 per student, $10 per person or $25 per family. (Dogs on Leashes welcome to participate) Participants can choose to run or walk the 5K course, and are encouraged to gather friends and family to support this worthwhile event. Breakfast fand prizes for kids, teens, largest group, MVP and MOST PURPLE!!
All proceeds from the event will go towards providing resources and support for survivors of domestic violence in Lander County. Join us in taking a stand against domestic violence and making a positive impact in our community. A special thank you to our sponsors Nevada Gold Mines and Silver Standard.
