ALL ABOUT APPLES EXHIBIT AT THE ALLIS-BUSHNELL HOUSE MUSEUM
with SPECIAL EVENT FOR FAMILIES ON OCTOBER 5
The Madison Historical Society’s Allis-Bushnell House Museum, 853 Boston Post Rd, Madison, is open to visitors free of charge on the first and third Saturday of every month, from 11 am to 1 pm. This autumn, in its hearth kitchen room, the Museum will feature an exhibit entitled “All About Apples.” This exhibit will celebrate apples and all the comfort and seasonality they invoke. Along with locally published recipes from different historical periods in Madison, the MHS’s historic kitchen gadgets related to apples and baking will be on display with artworks that feature apples as their theme.
The Society invites children of all ages to a related special event on October 5 from 11 am to 1 pm. Kids’ activities will include apple and pumpkin crafts, apple stamping, and more. Refreshments will be served, and parents and grandparents are encouraged to attend with their children.
