Mr. Bill Conner explores the leadership of Ivan Danilovich Chernyakhovsky, who was the youngest-ever Soviet General of the army. For his leadership during World War II, he was twice awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union. Chernyakhovsky commanded the 3rd Belorussian Front during Operation Bagration, which would become the largest Soviet campaign of World War II and swept the Germans from Belorussia by mid-July 1944.
