Food has the power to connect us to others, to provide comfort, and to evoke memories. As an older woman, Julia Dent Grant recalled in her memoirs, specific dishes that enslaved Mary Robinson prepared for the Dent family at White Haven. Bring some of your stories and memories of food to share as we discuss the role of food in history and community. This will be a small, interactive program, limited to 15 people. For reservations call 314-842-1867 ext. 230.
