On Tuesday, February 25th we will host Donna Rae Pearson, a museum specialist with the Kansas Historical Society for her program: The Women of Brown. This presentation will focus on the twelve Black women who were at the forefront of the civil rights movement as plaintiffs in the Brown vs. Board of Education case. Their contribution to civil rights as often been overlooked. The presentation will explore their stories and their impact on American society. The program will begin at 7 pm at the TCHS site at 201 W. Washington in Tonganoxie. Refreshments will be served following the program. All are welcome to attend.
