Buckeye Valley Museum -Rawhide to Bonanza: A Nostalgic History of TV Westerns - Buckeye Museum 116 E. MC 85
Date/Time
1/9/2025 Beginning at 10 am
Event Description
On Sunday nights in the 1950s and 60s, we got to eat dinner in the living room so we could watch Wagon Train, then later Maverick, and finally Bonanza. Meanwhile, Gunsmoke plugged away on CBS for twenty years. In the 1960s, there were Westerns on TV every night including The Virginian, Big Valley, The High Chaparral, and many more.
Let's rekindle fond memories of Matt Dillon, the Cartwrights, and the cowboys, lawmen, and outlaws who won our hearts.
