Each year, we collect NEW & VERY GENTLY USED PURSES to gift to the moms living at Solid Ground.

Here are the ground rules for the purses:

• These need to be new or like-new purses. We want the moms to be proud of their NEW purse.
• We prefer to gift "mom-size" purses. We are really looking for purses that moms can use to carry all the things that they are called upon to provide.
• We need to have the purses in hand (at the Chamber office - 4751 US-61N, White Bear Lake) by Friday, April 11th so we know if we need to supplement the inventory.

We also collect supplies to use to stuff the purses. We will need about 40 of each item.
A list of suggested items includes:

• Travel size tissues
• Travel size baby wipes
• Mini packs of crayons
• Notepads
• Feminine products
• Travel size hand lotion
• Lip gloss or lip balm
• Travel size hand sanitizer

Our Women in Business lunch participants at the April 24th event will do the purse stuffing. A team member from Solid Ground will pick up the filled purses and bring them back to their facility to be ready for a Mother's Day event when the children get to chose a purse from your donations and gift it to their mom. 

We love this event and we hope you help us collect at least 40 purses and all of the fun items to stuff inside!
