Join AAUW (American Associatin of University Women, Boulder City Branch) in celebrating the uniqueness of homes in Boulder City.  This is a fun afternoon, and many of our participants meet new friends and reconnect with old friends.  The Tour is also a fundraiser for scholarships for local college students continuing their education.  Homeowners have volunteered their homes to help AAUW earn the funds for those scholarships.  Many homes on our tours have had extensive remodeling, others are much newer, some can be older, with little or no renovation.  The attention to detail and creativity of the owners can truly be appreciated.  This is the 48th Annual Home Tour presented by Boulder City AAUW.

For the tour, one purchases a wristband ticket, which comes with a brochure outlining the homes, and with maps to help tour-goers find the homes.  Many participants enjoy doing a brunch or lunch prior to the tour, with friends, but they should know the homes are closed promptly at 4:00 p.m.  so starting at 1:00 is the best plan. Tickets (wrist tickets) will be on sale at the Historic Boulder Dam Hotel, after October 27, for a $20 donation, each.   AAUW members and friends host the tour, and impart a bit of information about the tour homes, the organization and the scholarship program.  Some homes are walkable distance to downtown, others are a bit out of the center.  Not all homes are handicap accessible.  Email or text questions or concerns.
