We seek unique and valuable items to feature in our silent and live auctions during the National Mounted Warfare Foundation (NMWF) Homecoming for Heroes IX gala. The gala will be from 5:30 to 9:30 PM on April 26, 2025, at SC River Ranch in Oakalla, Texas. Many of our guests will be Active Duty U.S. Army soldiers from Fort Cavazos, Texas, and U.S. military veterans. We expect to draw 400+ attendees and aim to raise $110,000 at the event. The Homecoming for Heroes gala benefits the National Mounted Warrior Museum (NMWM) at Fort Cavazos. The NMWM opened in September 2024 and is a multi-sensory, multi-media experiential museum honoring the US Army’s mounted warriors and Fort Cavazos. The NMWM is an educational destination for our region’s schools, our nation’s civilian patriots, and the millions of veterans who passed through Fort Cavazos and want to share their experiences.
