When someone you care about is living with dementia, things can be difficult, exhausting, and even scary. Howard County Community Hospice is looking forward to presenting “Alzheimer’s and Dementia 101: A Training for Friends and Family” at 3:30 PM on Wednesday, March 19 at Evans Senior Living Community. This program is free and open to the public, and will include: tips for communicating with your loved one, how to set your loved one (and yourself) up for success at home and on outings, how to plan for their future needs, what resources are available to help you and your loved one, stages of dementia and disease progression, and answers to any audience questions.
