Learn about advanced planning (living wills, IPOST, POA, etc.) and how they can make explaining your wishes when hard things happen in your life that prevent you from communicating your wishes easier.
Location
Regional Health Services of Howard County Laura Rose Conference Room 235 8th Ave W Cresco, IA 52136
Living wills and other advance directives help your doctors and loved ones know your wishes if you are not able to communicate them due to trauma, illness, or nearing end of life. Nobody likes to think about these difficult situations, but they are much easier for you and your family if you have completed documents that clearly communicate your wishes. The experts at RHSHC will be on hand with more information about documents to communicate those choices and to assist you with completing these documents. Notarization is available and this event is open and free to the public. Walk-ins are welcome, or you can contact us with questions or to make an appointment. All adults 18+ are encouraged to have medical advance directives. Please bring a government ID if you would like documents notarized and do not sign documents needing to be notarized until instructed to do so.
