Abbey Creek Vineyard
Walk 'n Talk with Bertony Faustin
Saturday, May 17th @ 9:30am
Real conversation. Real connection. A rare experience in the vines.
Join Bertony Faustin, founder of Abbey Creek Vineyard and Oregon’s first recorded Black winemaker, for a private, behind-the-scenes experience at a place most never get to see. The vineyard—normally closed to the public—opens its gates for this intimate gathering. And leading the way? The man who built it from the ground up—The Changemaker rewriting the rules, and expanding the table for those who’ve never had a seat.
What You’ll Experience:
Private Access to Abbey Creek Vineyard
Not staged. Not curated for show. You’ll walk the actual grounds where the work happens. Where legacy is built. This is a raw, unfiltered look at the soil, the vines, and the space that started it all.
Personally Guided by Bertony Faustin
This isn’t a presentation—it’s a conversation. As we walk, Bertony shares the real stories: the challenges, the pivots, the principles. It’s not about selling wine—it’s about standing in the realities of your past, present, and future self, and sharing the journey with those who came to connect.
Intentional Wine Tasting + Haitian-Inspired Bites
After our walk through the vineyard, we’ll head back to the tasting room—Abbey Creek Winery, affectionately known as The OG Crick. This is where the pour meets the purpose. You’ll taste selected wines, each one carrying more than just flavor—it carries a story. Alongside each glass, you’ll enjoy thoughtfully crafted bites, inspired by Bertony’s Haitian roots. This isn’t a grazing session—it’s nourishment with intention. Every pairing is designed to deepen the moment, not distract from it.
This is a “Get Lifted” experience—not just through wine, but through stories and history. You’ll leave full: in mind, body, and perspective.
Stories That Stick
Expect unfiltered moments and down to earth discussion. Laughter. Maybe even a pause to take it all in. This isn’t rushed—it’s rooted. No rehearsed speeches, no spotlight moments. Just presence, honesty, and connection. The kind of storytelling that doesn’t just entertain—it stays with you.
Who It’s For:
The curious. The culture lovers. The folks who know wine isn’t just about tasting—it’s about feeling something.
You don’t need to be a sommelier. You just need to be ready to walk, talk, and sip with purpose.
