Event Description
TCHS Fourth Tuesday Program, April 22  at the historical museum site from 7-8:30 pm.  The event begins at 7 pm with a brief business meeting followed by the historical program.

All are welcome for this free program.  Refreshments will be served following the program.

The TCHS will welcome Thomas Prasch, Professor and Chair of the History Department at Washburn University for his program: “World’s Fair Remnants in Kansas.”  Innovations in architecture, engineering, foods, and other areas have debuted at fairs across the world including some in the United States.  Kansas is home to at least four legacies of significant world’s fairs.  This program will focus on the history of these fairs and on the artifacts found today in Lawrence, Lindsborg, and Wamego.
This program is sponsored by Humanities Kansas.
