Get ready to LOL! In this Stand-Up Comedy Workshop,
Designed for kids entering 3rd grade and up, your child will learn the art of making people laugh. From crafting their own jokes to delivering them with confidence, this workshop is perfect for kids who love to be funny and entertaining.
Your young comedian will find their voice while learning key elements of comedy:
Joke Writing 101: Learn the basic building blocks of a joke, including setup, punchline, and timing.
Finding the Funny: Explore what makes things funny and how to find humor in everyday life.
Developing a Routine: Create a unique stand-up set with a beginning, middle, and end.
Stage Presence: Practice delivering jokes with confidence, using voice, gestures, and facial expressions.
Improvisation: Play improv games to improve comedic timing and spontaneity.
Performance Skills: Learn how to connect with an audience and handle the spotlight.
This workshop will culminate in a "Comedy Showcase" where kids can perform their original stand-up routines for friends and family. It's a fantastic way to boost confidence, develop public speaking skills, and unleash your child's inner comedian!
