Kevin Krentz Delightful Perfection New Year’s Eve Celebration: December 31, 2021
Kevin Krentz is joined by a quartet of wonderful players, including Lauren Roth, the Concertmaster of the Tucson Symphony. Not all performers know each other so spontaneity is an exciting element of this festival.
This concert will include a couple of optimistic and energetic larger string quartets by Debussy and Mendelssohn. In addition, selections of the Danish String Quartet’s Wood Works and Last Leaf albums, traditional Scandinavian folk tunes done so in a less traditional way resulting in something that is incredibly charismatic and captivating. Guests will participate in a haiku and limericks competition during intermission.
