Rockford Park District's Carlson Ice Arena invites everyone to enjoy an afternoon of indoor ice skating fun with family or friends while gaining the benefits of recreation and exercise at Rockin’ Rocky’s Family Skate sessions on Saturdays and Sundays through April 24, 2022. Ice skate to music under disco lights, and watch for special appearances by facility mascot Rocky the Bear. A special skate and meal deal is available at the sessions, and includes public skating admission, skate rental, a medium fountain drink, and choice of either a hot dog and chips, or a slice of pizza (one topping), or a pretzel with cheese and popcorn, all for just $13 per person. Saturday session times are 1-3 pm; and Sunday times are 2-4 pm. Pre-registration is not required. Regular admission to the sessions for skating only is $5 per person, and skate rental available for $2; no discount coupons will be accepted for regular admission to these events, or for the package.
