Have you ever wondered what firefighters do, what it’s like to be inside a burning building, how to improve the fire safety of your family or how to use the Jaws of Life to save someone from a car crash?
If so, South Metro Fire Rescue invites you to participate in their annual Citizen’s Academy. This eight week academy is a rare opportunity to discover the mysteries of modern firefighting and learn priceless life-saving skills. Each of the eight classes is taught or facilitated by SMFR personnel.

Dr. Anderson obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology in Socorro, New Mexico. She obtained her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry in Fullerton, California. Dr. Anderson has experience working is multiple specialty clinics such as pediatrics, corneal disease and refractive surgery. She has experience fitting specialty contacts on children and adults and is happy to take on the patients that may not have had luck in the past. Dr. Anderson enjoys being able to provide the best
clinical eye care to the entire family and she works hard to keep up to date on all the latest advances vision care.
