Dunbar and Castle Pines Orthodontics We love to promote our members and this week, we are pleased to highlight Dr. Andrew J. Dunbar with Castle Pines Orthodontics! Dr. Dunbar was born in Oklahoma where he and his siblings were raised by their adoptive parents who owned Dunbar IGA, the only grocery store in town. Dunbar attended the University of Oklahoma Dental School and was a dentist in the Navy for 9 years where he served in California, Japan and Maryland. He then attended the University of Louisville for his orthodontic residency and upon graduation in 2002, he moved to Colorado and opened his practice, Castle Pines Orthodontics. Castle Pines Orthodontics was the first orthodontic practice in Castle Pines and has earned 5280 Magazines designation as best orthodontist in Castle Rock and Castle Pines since 2008. They believe that orthodontics is about more than straightening teeth. It not only enhances a person’s health and appearance, it also adds to self-esteem and confidence. Dunbar and his practice are very active in the community and sponsor Castle Pines Athletics, chamber events and school activities. In his free time, Andrew likes to golf and spend time with his family. Andrew and his wife Jennifer have lived in Castle Pines Village for 2 years. They have 2 daughters. Sierra, 25, works in the horse industry as a trainer and Jane, 20, is in film school in Hollywood, CA.
