Dear fellow Castle Pines Chamber members:
It has been a busy start to the year for our staff and Board! Our Board has been extremely fortunate to welcome our first-year Board member Jamie Smith of Heritage Title, who has already provided valuable input and has assisted us in recruiting new Chamber members. Our returning Board members are actively assisting our staff in various ways and are very excited about the future of our city and of our Chamber!
Our staff has been thrilled to welcome Tina Hansen as our new marketing director. Tina has already made her mark by producing new materials for prospective members, creating new ads and promotions to further market both our Chamber and our members, and has made a positive impression on all of our members that have met her at our events. Stop and say HI to her at any of our events.
In other staff news, our events director Whitney Shank was recently awarded the Team Member of the Year award by the Colorado Chamber of Commerce Executives. Whitney was in the running along with staff members from Chambers all over Colorado so this was wonderful recognition for both Whitney and our whole Chamber! WAY to GO Whitney!
Additionally, we just had our second meeting with The Chamber and Michael Penny, our City Manager, and several brick and mortar business owners in Castle Pines. The goal of this group is to offer a support network, and peer group to navigate the challenges facing businesses today. The Chamber and the City will offer speakers, workshops, valuable information regarding growth and changes in our community, and a collaborative
environment to share ideas and best practices. We have had great attendance and look forward to meeting again!

We look forward to seeing you all at our very popular summer events including Food Truck Frenzy on June 8th, Vino in the Village on August 16th and Party in the Park on August 17th AND make sure you grab your families and come join us on October 6 at the all new Race Through the Pines 5k that’s all about family and fun, and our ever popular color run for kids 12 and under!
