After three wonderful years on West Main Street in Richmond's Historic Fan District, we have moved to 6655 Main Street, Gloucester, VA! We are excited about our new space.
As a painter, our visual environment is our inspiration. For many years it has been my dream to one day have a view of the marsh. The marsh is forever changing with the tides and seasons. My dream came true when I recently moved my primary residence from the Fan to eleven acres on a creek in Gloucester County. After careful consideration I decided to move Stewart Gallery to Gloucester as well. I will continue to act as director with Gallery Manager, Rachel Komlenic. We will now be open Tuesday through Saturday and look forward to seeing our Richmond friends and clients in Gloucester!
Stewart Gallery's primary focus is still on the local artist. We represent more than twenty regional painters, potters, sculptors and glass artists. We have two wonderful lines of handmade jewelry, from nationally and locally recognized designers. Our easy and convenient layaway payments make any purchase possible.
As we did in Richmond we will showcase particular artists with gallery talks, social gatherings and special hours. If you would like to be added to our email list, please fill out the form on the "contact us" page or join our mailing list.
Stewart Gallery, a fine arts gallery, opened in November, 2015 at 6655 Main Street, Gloucester. Stewart Gallery operated for three years in the Fan District of Richmond before owner, Theresa Stewart Hupp, moved the gallery to Gloucester.
Representing more than thirty regional painters, potters, sculptors, glass and jewelry artists, Stewart Gallery's focus is on promoting the local artist. Exhibits frequently change to make way for new and different pieces. Clients are encouraged to stop by often and enjoy the wonderful talents of the artists represented.
Thank you for your continued support,
Theresa Stewart Hupp
