Belen de la Cruz Empanadas & Pastries is the brainchild of Belen, an Argentinean Mom whose love for food and aesthetics was cultivated from a young age by her mother's culinary expertise and eye for decor. After a successful career in Marketing and a life spent in various countries, Belen found her true calling upon the birth of her first son. Choosing to embrace her passions fully, she embarked on a path of exploration, honing her skills in culinary arts, decor design, and cake decoration.
Settling in Atlanta, Belen saw an opportunity to introduce locals to the rich flavors of her homeland. She began offering Argentinean pastries and cooking classes, each session designed not only to tantalize taste buds but also to bridge cultural gaps. Through whimsical cooking classes adorned with playful aprons and innovative menus, Belen endeavored to acquaint Atlantans with Argentinean culinary delights, from empanadas to dulce de leche.
The overwhelming response from her community prompted Belen's brother to propose the idea of opening a storefront. With unwavering determination, they transformed this vision into reality, establishing Belen de la Cruz Empanadas & Pastries in February 2020. Since then, the business has flourished, expanding to three locations and achieving USDA certification. At its core lies a deep-rooted commitment to community, a passion for sharing culture through food, and an unwavering dedication to quality and authenticity.
