Dr. Michelina (Micki) D. Hecht is a caring, licensed wedding officiant who has served the Las Vegas community for over 20 years! Each wedding ceremony that she performs is tailored to suit the couple that she is involved with for that particular wedding. In a pre-marital meeting (in person or conversation via phone or e-mail as your needs require) she gets to know each of you and explores your hopes and expectations for your "dream wedding." She uses the information you share with her to help her create a wedding ceremony especially for the two of you.
Her years of education (Yale & Vanderbilt Universities) and many years of experience with couples on their wedding day and most especially the days leading up to that magical day, give her the necessary tools to help you create the wedding experience you have wanted all your life! She has Doctorate degrees in Theology and Psychology (Marriage & Family Therapy) and can help to make your family members feel comfortable and at ease with your wedding experience.
Dr. Micki has created and performed weddings for many couples, including Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Jews, Buddhists, Agnostics, and most especially for couples from differing religious backgrounds and philosophies, etc.... At A Wedding Officiant Las Vegas, we are also happy to participate with same gender couples of all faiths!
