For this to be my first experience here, I am usually pretty skeptical of salons, being a stylist's daughter, and more skeptical of braids shops because they only do braids, not other processes. However, the owner Brigitte is the sweetest woman, and her braiding skills are so great! She is a perfectionist and her work shows it! You will be satisfied. You can also find some African clothing, art, and hand made jewelry there as well. Some hand-made by the owner, Brigitte! Her daughters work in the shop with her and they, too, are very good braiders.
They are all quick, my hair didn't take too long, a few hours. I've had micro braids before and been at shops for 6-10 hrs, depending on the style of course. But I was out in about four hours and on to my next adventure! I definitely recommend this place for braids, crochet styles and protective stylings. I witnessed them doing cornrows, and twists while there so they have plenty of possibilities for you! I will be back!- Ashley G.
