Hunger is a constant in the lives of many New Mexicans. According to Feeding America, one in six New Mexicans are at risk of hunger. The situation for our children is much worse with nearly 25% or one in four children at risk. In fact, New Mexico is currently ranked #1 in the country for children hunger.
Roadrunner Food Bank distributes more than 37 million pounds of food every year to a network of hundreds of partner agencies and four regional food banks. In turn, these agencies provide food directly to the hungry in our communities across the state. Through our network, we provide food and hope to 70,000 people experiencing hunger each and every week.
