About Animal Humane New Mexico
Animal Humane New Mexico
Animal Humane New Mexico, established in 1965, is New Mexico’s leading private nonprofit animal welfare organization dedicated to enhancing the lives of companion animals through comprehensive sheltering, adoption, humane education, and veterinary services. Our mission is to provide a haven, medical care, and loving homes for homeless and at-risk pets, ensuring every pet has the opportunity to live a healthy, happy life. We offer various services, including adoption, behavior, and training programs, a subsidized veterinary clinic, humane education, a pet food bank, foster care, lost and found services, and affordable spay and neuter services.
Serving over 10,000 pets annually, our impact is made possible by a dedicated team of staff, volunteers, and donors. We strive to create a community where every pet is valued and has the chance to thrive. There are many ways to support our mission, from adopting a pet to volunteering, donating, or participating in our events and fundraisers.
