About JC's New York Pizza Department
JCs New York Pizza Department has become a mainstay in Downtown Albuquerque. We have grown from a corner pizzeria to a well-known stomping ground. At lunch, we provide a little reprieve from the 9 to 5 and offer a savory menu at an affordable price. On weekends we are the perfect casual hangout, whether you choose to sit and people watch on our patio, or disappear in a corner booth with someone you love. Whatever time, day or night, we promise you wont leave hungry!
Our Albuquerque location is also the home of our unique and private event space that accomodates up to 75. During all of our events you'll have full access to the food menu from JC's New York Pizza, a variety of beers on tap, and a selection of special wines.
Having spent more than half his life in the restaurant business, it was only a matter of time before Joaquin Garofalo would operate his own establishment. It was fourteen years ago, idea in hand, that Joaquin began his journey as a restaurateur and opened JCs New York Pizza Department. It was a concept rooted in his exposure to New York Pizza and Italian cuisine when visiting his family out East. But even more so, it was his fond memories of running around his parents pizzeria that inspired him to recreate the family dining experience. It is family values, strong work ethic and business savvy that has kept JC's NYPD going in the heart of Albuquerque for 18 years.
