We are VERY excited to have a fireworks show in Baird.  Kevin Davis has performed his own fireworks show for the last 8 years.  Please see attached sheet for extra information on this celebration.  We hope you enjoy the show!

The Chamber Board was very pleased with the Baird Railhead Festival success.  We appreciate you for coming to participate and/or volunteer your time.  We will hold this event every May on the third weekend.  The weather is usually cooler, and school is keeping families close to home.  We had several citizens attend our June Board Meeting to give advice and new ideas for next year.  Some highlights of this meeting are: 1) Plan to take advantage of FREE advertising, 2) Move all vendors between 1st & 2nd streets, 3) Increase food vendors for lunch and supper, 4) Encourage more activites for children, 5) Arrange Lone Star Lead & Lace close to the train tracks, 6) Provide a schedule of events for the day (flyer), 7) Display band names for each band playing,
8) Reserve the arches for bands during severe weather, 9) Add new events during slow time (2-6pm).
We appreciate all you do for our community and are thankful for your membership!

Baird Fourth of July Fireworks Show

This year's fireworks will be launched at Bell Park.  Belle Plain Revival will perform on our new Stage in the park following the fireworks show.  NO cover OR cooler charge.  Bring your lawn chairs and enjoy the show!!
