Hunter's Supper will be Saturday, November 4th at 7pm in the Baird Activity Center (Light Plant).  A gun raffle is now taking place with the drawing to be held at the Hunter's Supper.  This year we have THREE Ruger guns (9MM, 30-06, and .270) to give away.  Tickets are $10 each or 3 for $25 and can be purchased at City Hall or First Bank Texas for your chance to win.  You do not have to be present to win.  We will also have door prizes to give away.  A HUGE thanks to our gun sponsor, Hanner Supercenter!

 

Local Volunteers, Businesses, '48 Study Club, Chamber of Commerce, and the City of Baird will once again decorate light poles along 4th Street (Business 20), the Depot, and Downtown.  Please join us in our efforts by calling 854-1212 to be added to our contact list.  We hope to have more homes decorated to bring visitors to Baird looking for great Christmas light displays!  Unfortunately, we will not display Christmas Village in The Arches this year.

Big Dumpsters Available

Check the City of Baird Facebook page and our local newspaper for hours of operation.  Please be prepared to provide your water bill.  The dumpsters will be south of the Baird Activity Center (Old Light Plant).

October 31st **contact City Hall in October for more information**  Trunk or Treat at the Church of Christ parking lot.  Booster Club Trick or Treat at the HS Gym: Free Throw Contest, Half Court Shot Contest, Costume Contest, and more.  A Hay Ride to different businesses will also be available.
