About Us About Us

The Guardian Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)3 not for profit corporation that was established in 1993 to support the work of the Guardian ad Litem Program in the 8th Judicial Circuit. The Foundation provides resources not available through state funding to help normalize the lives of abused, neglected, and/or abandoned children by offering the same opportunities afforded children outside the dependency system.

The vision of The Guardian Foundation, Inc. is to ensure that all financial operational needs not provided by government funding to the 8th Judicial Circuit are met. We envision that assertive action is taken to generate sustainable funding resources to meet the needs of every child served and volunteer supported by the 8th Judicial Circuit Program. We will also take an active role in educating and informing the public on the needs of and services provided by the 8th Judicial Circuit Guardian ad Litem Program.
