We tried something new this year for the Christmas parade activity day - we had punch and cookies with Santa at the Chamber office. Pictures with Santa were $5 and they turned out quite well.  It was an experience with the kids and parents coming in.  The children were fun. Some of them were seriously afraid of Santa, some were nonchalant about the entire process and others were just so excited to see Santa. The event turned out good and we are pretty sure the event will be added to our future projects. Thanks to Dennis & Karen Collins, Collins Realty Group, Danette Register and Anthony Thompson, with Autocrafters, for helping us with Santa, registration and refreshments.

The Chamber staff is currently working on the 21st Annual Golf Tournament to be held  the end of April. We will need corporate and hole sponsors and ditty bags and ditty bag items - i.e. golf balls, towels, hats, tees, snacks. Volunteers are also welcome.
