The Chamber of Commerce hosted a Lunch & Learn at the Chamber office on Tuesday, April 12.  There was a great crowd of close to 20 in attendance.  The speaker was Crawford Powell who came to speak on "Economic Development-What Does it Take to Win?"  Be on the lookout for when the next Chamber Lunch & Learn is.

The 26th Annual Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament is on Friday, April 29, 2016 at Bent Creek Golf Course (10440 Tournament Lane in Jacksonville).  Registration starts at 8am with a shotgun start at 9am.  Entry fee is $60 per player and includes greens fees, cart, buffet lunch, prizes, range/warm up balls and drawings.  Deadline for entry is Friday, April 22, 2016.  Limited to first 120 players.  Corporate Sponsorship is $350 and includes two complimentary players, business name on putting green, newspaper recognition, name on sign displayed at Bent Creek Golf Course during the tournament and displayed at the Chamber office for one year.  Hole Sponsorship is $125 and includes your business name being placed at one of the holes at the tournament and newspaper recognition.  For more information, call (904) 259-6433 or email: bjenks@bakerchamberfl.com or hsands@bakerchamberfl.com.  For entry form, please click on the link below:

The 2016 Independence Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at Memorial Park (160 West Boulevard in Macclenny).  The celebration will begin at 5pm with vendor booths and entertainment as well as a game truck.  The fireworks will begin around 9pm and then immediately after the fireworks there will be a movie in the park featuring the movie "Inside Out".  For more information or to reserve a vendor booth, please contact the Baker County Chamber of Commerce at (904) 259-6433
