The 36th Annual Chamber of Commerce Banquet will be held on Tuesday, September 27 at 6:30pm at Christian Fellowship Temple's Fellowship Hall located at 251 West Ohio Avenue in Macclenny.  Doors will open at 6:30 and the sit down dinner and program will start at 7pm with special guest speaker, Vera Jones-Motivational Speaker, Author, Award-winning Television and Radio Broadcaster and Syracuse University Hall-of-Fame Athlete. THANK YOU to the generous sponsors of this years banquet: Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, Country Federal Credit Union and NEFCOM. Be on the lookout for your invitations to arrive in your mailbox. Nomination forms for the annual Chamber awards, that will be presented at the banquet, have been sent out previously. Governor Rick Scott made a visit to the Chamber of Commerce office on Tuesday, August 9th where he met with members of the Chamber board and local elected officials. After providing a brief update on state activities, Governor Scott listened to local concerns and offered ideas to help solve some of them.
