The Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of attending the Grand Opening/Ribbon Cutting of Life's Sweet Creations on Friday, February 3.  If you haven't had a chance to stop by and try some of their sweet treats, please do so, you will love it!!!  They are located at 553 South Sixth Street in Macclenny (in the former location of Sugar & Spice).

This year in place of our Visitor's & Relocation Guide, the Chamber will be doing a County Map.  The last map was done in 2010 so it is much needed.  This map is a great way to advertise your business, we have people almost on a daily basis coming in asking for the County Map.  If you would like to purchase an Ad for this years map, contact the Chamber at (904) 259-6433 or email: bjenks@bakerchamberfl.com or hsands@bakerchamberfl.com.

The Chamber of Commerce will host a Lunch & Learn on Tuesday, February 28 at noon with Resource Partners in NE Florida that can assist you if you want to start or grow a small business.  There will be four presenters at the lunch & learn, one from the Jacksonville Women's Business Center, one from the U.S. Small Business Administration, one from SCORE and one from FSBDC.  Please RSVP to the Chamber office at (904) 259-6433 or email: bjenks@bakerchamberfl.com or hsands@bakerchamberfl.com.

The 27th Annual Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at Bent Creek Golf Course located at 10440 Tournament Lane in Jacksonville.  Registration will begin at 7:30am with a shot gun start at 8:30am.  Corporate Sponsorships are $350 and include two complimentary players, business name on putting green, newspaper recognition, name on sign displayed at the course during the tournament and displayed at the Chamber office for one year.  Hole Sponsorships are $125 and include your business name being placed at one of the holes the day of the tournament and newspaper recognition.  Sponsorships also include green fees, cart, prizes, range/warm up balls and drawings.  Cost of individual player is $60 and includes green fees, cart, prizes, range/warm up balls and drawings.  Lunch will be provided for all participants.  Deadline for entry is Friday, March 3, 2017 and is limited to the first 120 players.
