28th Annual Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament
The Chamber of Commerce 28th Annual Golf Tournament will be held on Friday, March 23 at Bent Creek Golf Course in Jacksonville. Registration will start at 8am with a shotgun start at 9am. Corporate Sponsorships are available for $350 and includes two complimentary players, business name on putting green, newspaper recognition, name on sign displayed at the course during the tournament and displayed at the Chamber office for one year. Hole Sponsorships are available for $125 and includes your business name being placed at one of the holes the day of the tournament and newspaper recognition. Sponsorships also includes greens fees, cart, prizes, range/warm up balls and drawings. Lunch will be provided for all participants. Chamber Temporary Home
Thanks to the Superintendent of Schools, we have a more permanent temporary home. We are now located in the Family Service Center at 418 South 8th Street (beside Keller Intermediate School). We would like to say a big thanks to Nefcom for letting us use there offices when we needed them after the fire at the Chamber office!!!

The Chamber of Commerce had the pleasure of attending the Ribbon Cutting Ceremony for Baker Prevention Coalition's new office location on Thursday, December 21. There was a great crowd in attendance and the Chamber was glad to be a part of it. If you haven't been by to check out the new office, stop by and check it out. They are now located at 19 W Maccclenny Avenue, Suite 111.
Ditty Bags for Golf Tournament
We are in need of items for our ditty bags and bags to put the prizes in that we give to each player at the golf tournament. Items that are great ditty bag prizes are sleeves of golf balls, golf towels, packs of tees and/or individual tees, we could also use pens, bag clips, coupons, and individual packs of cookies or crackers, etc. Items for ditty bags are a great advertising tool if you have them printed with your company logo and/or name on it. Please let us know if you are willing to donate something for the ditty bags or if you are willing to donate money towards the purchase of the ditty bag items.
